Why is Soccer the most popular sport in the world? The truth of it is, it's the
most fun to play! It is a clever blend of skills, athleticism and creativity.
Starting this sport at a young age ensures a low impact introduction when
children are free to express themselves, free to explore in a group setting and
find the joy of youthful enthusiasm. Academy trainers are of high school age,
have played travel soccer for many years and have an infectious love for the
game. The training sessions have a progressive element, built in, that
encourages development. The 4 - 7 year old child is the perfect candidate for
this development! The Academy's function is to integrate all of the above!

Our mission at Staten Island United Soccer club is
to provide a positive atmosphere and implement a means of development for coaches
and players. Our athletes will embrace such values as positive character, self
worth and physical well being while engaging in the competitive soccer arena. We
are focused on the overall development through training, team experiences and
